How it works
Simple by design.
- 01Set a preset or a custom countdown.
- 02Choose continuous arcs or equal bands; both follow the same clock.
- 03Start, pause, or resume without losing your timing.
- 04At zero, the countdown stops and stays completed. Restart it manually when you are ready.
- 05The illustration follows the real timer. Each mode keeps its own duration and running state.
Questions, answered.
How do continuous and equal-band rainbows differ?
Continuous mode shortens all seven arcs together. Equal bands divide the total time into seven parts, with a partial band showing progress within the current part. Both use the same countdown.
Will a countdown restart automatically at zero?
No. A countdown stops at zero and stays completed. To run it again, press Restart yourself; switching pages or refreshing does not start another run.
Will alerts sound if my device sleeps?
Timing catches up from timestamps when the browser resumes. Audio can be delayed or blocked while suspended; keep the page open and the device awake for important alerts.
