Terms & usage

A few useful ground rules.

What to expect when you use MintTimer.

Everyday timekeeping

MintTimer is designed for classroom activities, work sessions, exercise routines, and general timekeeping. It is not intended for emergency response, medical decisions, or other situations that require a certified or fail-safe timing system.

Browser and device limits

Timer displays use device timestamps. Changing the device clock can affect countdowns, and clocks show the time reported by your device. Alerts may be muted or delayed by browser restrictions, power-saving modes, sleep, device volume, or a closed browser. Test sound and keep a separate alarm when timing is important.

Your settings and content

Saved preferences and recoverable local timer state can be lost if browser storage is cleared. Keep a separate copy of any agenda or records you need. When using shared presentation sessions, treat viewing and control links as access credentials and keep sensitive information out of titles and agendas.

Use the shared service considerately

Use session tools for their intended purpose. Do not attempt to access or alter someone else’s session, disrupt service availability, or place harmful or unlawful material in shared content.

Changes and feedback

Features and availability may change as the project develops. Read the privacy notes for current data handling, or use the feedback page to prepare a bug report or question.
