Questions, answered.
How are city times calculated?
Times and UTC offsets use IANA time-zone rules from your browser, including daylight saving. Keep your device clock and software up to date.
Does the map show exact sunrise?
The solar layer estimates the day-night boundary from the current UTC date. It is a general global reference, not a local sunrise, weather or navigation forecast.
Will alerts sound if my device sleeps?
Timing catches up from timestamps when the browser resumes. Audio can be delayed or blocked while suspended; keep the page open and the device awake for important alerts.
