How it works
Simple by design.
- 01The timer opens set to 1 minutes. Enter hours, minutes or seconds to adapt the activity.
- 02Start when everyone is ready. Pause and resume without losing the remaining time, or adjust the live countdown.
- 03Use full screen and keep awake for a shared display. Reset confirms an active session before returning to the chosen duration.
- 04At zero, the countdown stops and stays completed. Restart it manually when you are ready.
Questions, answered.
Does sharing a countdown synchronize two devices?
No. The share link copies the chosen duration, not a running session. Each device starts its own countdown. Use a Presentation Timer room for synchronized displays.
Will a countdown restart automatically at zero?
No. A countdown stops at zero and stays completed. To run it again, press Restart yourself; switching pages or refreshing does not start another run.
Will alerts sound if my device sleeps?
Timing catches up from timestamps when the browser resumes. Audio can be delayed or blocked while suspended; keep the page open and the device awake for important alerts.
